When I started Where2Makan?, I always had the intention to properly note down the makan (food) places and geo information (latitude/longitude) so that I could properly visualise the locations on a map later. Have been using custom fields in Wordpress to achieve this and finally found time to hack together the RSS feed to get a proper GeoRSS feed.
Here’s the end result of using Yahoo Pipes and Where2Makan’s GeoRSS feed. You can even click on the title to see a brief post abstract too. Wouldn’t it be great if all food review blogs had GeoRSS feeds? Do drop me a comment if you’ll like to do the same for your blog
